1. General Policy — No Refunds
All PraxisMD subscription payments are non-refundable except in the specific circumstances set out in this policy. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
This applies to all plan types, including:
- Clinician Annual Subscription (after the free trial period)
- Student / Teaching Plan (2-year licence)
- Renewal or upgrade payments
2. Free Trial — No Charge
Clinician plan subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No payment is taken during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged and no refund is necessary. You are encouraged to fully evaluate the service during the trial period before your subscription begins.

3. Sustained Service Outage — Exception
If PraxisMD is completely inaccessible or non-functional for more than 30 consecutive days within a single subscription year, you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the period during which the service was unavailable.
The following conditions apply:
- The outage must be continuous (not cumulative). Separate shorter outages do not combine to reach the 30-day threshold.
- The outage must affect the core application — not planned maintenance windows, third-party service disruptions (e.g. internet providers), or individual device/browser issues.
- You must report the outage to support@praxismd.app within the outage period so that we can investigate and log it.
- Refund is calculated as: (number of days unavailable ÷ 365) × annual subscription price paid.
We are committed to maintaining a high level of service availability and consider this threshold to be a safety net that we sincerely hope never needs to be invoked.
4. Verification Failure
If you subscribe to the Clinician plan and are ultimately unable to complete the verification process — having exhausted all available avenues including the full review and appeal procedure described in our Terms and Conditions — the following refund terms apply:
- A 50% administration fee will be withheld to cover the cost of the verification review process.
- The remaining 50% of your subscription payment will be refunded within 30 days of the final verification decision.
- No refund of any kind will be issued if the applicant is found to have submitted fraudulent, falsified, or misleading documentation.
Access to the platform will be suspended at the point of verification failure and will not be reinstated without successful verification. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept these terms as a condition of the verification process.
5. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you are charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full. Please contact us with your payment confirmation details at support@praxismd.app and we will resolve this promptly.
6. Circumstances Not Eligible for Refund
The following are not eligible for a refund:
- Changing your mind after purchase
- No longer working in clinical practice
- Not using the service during the subscription period
- Dissatisfaction with a specific feature (please contact us — we actively improve the product)
- Switching devices or browsers
- Cancellation part-way through a subscription year (access continues to the renewal date)
- Outages lasting fewer than 30 consecutive days
⚠️ Before subscribing: Please make full use of the 7-day free trial (Clinician plan) to evaluate whether PraxisMD meets your needs. We are unable to offer refunds on the basis of the service not being suitable after purchase.
7. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request in an eligible circumstance, email support@praxismd.app with:
- Your full name and the email address used to register
- Your PraxisMD ID (PMD-XXXX) if available
- The reason for your request
- Your payment confirmation from Paddle (if available)
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), and is read alongside our Terms and Conditions.
