PraxisMD ("we", "us", "our") is a software product developed and operated by PraxisMD FZ LLC, a company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates. Our registered contact email is support@praxismd.app. The service is available at www.praxismd.app.
By creating an account or using PraxisMD, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including clinicians, medical students, and any other registrants.
PraxisMD is a web-based clinical documentation platform designed to help individual clinicians and medical students create, organise, and export structured clinical notes. Features include:
PraxisMD is a documentation aid only. It does not connect to NHS systems, electronic health records, or any external patient databases.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PraxisMD. By subscribing to the Clinician plan, you confirm that you are a registered or licensed healthcare professional. By subscribing to the Student plan, you confirm that you are a bona fide medical or healthcare student. PraxisMD reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
PraxisMD offers two subscription tiers:
Prices are displayed in your local currency at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. All payments are processed by Paddle.com (see Section 8).
Introductory pricing may apply for a limited period. Regular pricing will apply on renewal.
Clinician plan subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. No charge is made during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends without incurring any charge. After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew and payment will be taken.
PraxisMD grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the software for your individual professional or educational use. You may not:
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all PraxisMD transactions. This means:
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage your subscription by contacting support.
All Clinician plan subscribers are required to complete a verification process to confirm their professional registration. Verification is carried out by submitting a valid registration certificate or equivalent proof of licensure (e.g. GMC certificate, NMC PIN confirmation, or equivalent regulatory body document).
If your initial verification submission is rejected or unclear, PraxisMD will make a full and reasonable attempt to verify your credentials before any access is withdrawn. This may include requesting alternative documentation or contacting the relevant regulatory body for confirmation. We will not suspend access during an active verification review without prior notice.
In the event that verification cannot be completed after all reasonable attempts, a 50% administration fee will be withheld and the remaining 50% of your subscription payment will be refunded within 30 days. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. No refund will be issued where fraudulent or falsified documentation has been submitted.
Verified clinicians who are already registered with PraxisMD may recommend new users to the platform. To do so, the recommending clinician provides their PraxisMD ID (e.g. PMD-1234) to the new user, who enters it as a recommendation code during or after registration.
A recommendation from a verified clinician does not replace the standard verification process but will be taken into account to prioritise and expedite review of the new user's credentials. PraxisMD reserves the right to verify all recommendations and to decline or revoke access where credentials cannot be confirmed.
By providing a recommendation, the recommending clinician confirms that they personally know the individual they are recommending and that, to the best of their knowledge, that person is a registered healthcare professional.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@praxismd.app. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Your notes and data remain accessible in read-only mode after cancellation until the period ends.
Your use of PraxisMD is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it. Patient data entered into PraxisMD notes is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. Please review our Privacy Policy carefully.
PraxisMD is a tool to assist with clinical documentation. It does not constitute medical advice. All clinical decisions, diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatments are the sole responsibility of the qualified healthcare professional using the platform. PraxisMD expressly disclaims any liability for clinical decisions made on the basis of content generated or displayed within the platform.
All content, software, design, trademarks, and intellectual property within PraxisMD are owned by or licensed to PraxisMD FZ LLC. You retain ownership of any clinical notes you create using the platform.
We aim to keep PraxisMD available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the service following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PraxisMD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the regulations of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
